When you are looking for something to read or searching for resources for your thesis, you should visit our . It provides more than 230,000 documents 鈥� books, textbooks, theses, journals and others. On top of that, the library environment is perfect for studying and just relaxing.
Registration
Students and employees of TUL can register for the University Library for free. Just bring a valid ISIC / ITIC card or any other chip card and fill in the application form. If the registrant does not have a chip card, the library will issue his/her card for a fee of 35 CZK. Membership is for one year and must be renewed when it expires.
Main Library

The main library offers all the services 鈥� registration, loans and returns, scanning, printing, and more. You can also visit the acquisition department to request a document that is unavailable in the library.

In summer, the library’s opening hours are shortened 鈥� the library closes at 15:30.
E2 branch
The branch is located on the main campus. It offers basic services, such as registration, loans, and returns. Using the , you can book documents from the main library to pick up here.

9:00鈥�12:00, 13:00鈥�16:00
Biblioboxes
Two biblioboxes are available to return loaned books. They are located in the Students’ Club in building E2, at Harcov dormitories (building C), and right in front of building H.
Bibliocabinet
A Bibliocabinet full of books (up to 140 pieces) is available in building P. A Reader’s card is required to loan or return books here.
Publishing
Publishing 鈥� operated by the library 鈥� is responsible for issuing electronic and printed documents and assigning ISBNs.
Polygraphy TUL&
It provides printing and related services:
- printing and binding of diploma theses,
- black and white or colour printing, including large formats,
- production of books, proceedings and posters.
